GADI'S LIFE STORY
This website is dedicated to the memory of our beloved son, Gadi, who was killed on July 17, 1996, in the crash of TWA flight 800 from New York to Paris. Gadi left us in the prime of his life and the melody of his life was suddenly silenced.
Gadi was born on May 26, 1967 in Israel, on the verge of the Six Day War.
He attended Bartov State School and Ostrowsky High School in his hometown, Raanana, Israel.

He completed three years of military service with merit and was awarded the
Distinguished Soldier Medal at the Presidential Residence.

Gadi studied at Tel Aviv University in the Faculty of Economics and Management.
Throughout his three years of study (1988-1991) he earned successively
awards of excellence from the Rector of the University, including the Honorary Rectors Scholarship. Upon graduation, Gadi received the Israeli Parliament Outstanding Academic Achievement Award presented by and graduated with distinction.

Gadi continued onto graduate school, pursuing his M.B.A in finance and accounting at the Columbia Business School, New York. He graduated in 1993 with the Beta Gamma Sigma Award of Distinction. (Please see under Awards & Diplomas)

After graduation, Gadi joined Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette Securities Corporation
(DLJ) as an associate in the investment-banking division, Corporate Finance Group.

Gadi Notes, of blessed memory, was killed in the tragic crash of TWA flight 800 while traveling to Paris on business.
Gadi Notes died at the age of 29.

Gadi will forever be remembered for his vision, creativity and unfailing energy to pursue his dreams, as well as for his compassion, inquisitiveness and love of life.
